Nancy Drew, You jogged my memory about her saying that. I had forgotten.
Also, I recall a news story about 2 weeks after the murders where they got the surveillance tapes for the guy across the street from OJ. That would be the top Jewish leader (world) Sheimbaum. Not another thing was said of it.
I did hear about the McDonald's surveillance tapes which made me look out at our McD's and found that they were in fact there.
As I said earlier, CA was way ahead of us (KY) in this game.
I would say that gas stations, convenient stores, flower shops, shops in Brentwood, restuarants, private homes, etc had them all over that area.
Either Kari or Jean --and I think it is Kari has info about the surveillance tapes at the Mezz which mysterious disappeared as well.
ANd LA has had traffic surveillance for a whole lot longer than other places have.
This has been one of the great mysteries in this case. I mentioned OKLa City---a city far less sophisticated than LA having video of McVey on the morning of the bombing.
It may well be that Ben and Jerry's had it as well. Many places of business have them in case of a robbery.
Even many of the schools have them and I would think in LA they would. Just saw on the news in the last day or two where they had video of some stranger trying to pick up a kid coming to school and it wasn't LA but a much smaller city.
THe grocery store I went to yesterday has a video of the parking lot. You can watch it while checking out.
And as I said, I never dreamed McDonald's had them until I heard that and looked.
In the OKLA CITY case, much of the video (but not all) was just of the vehicle driving by out front without seeing the driver or the license plate.
Seems to me if they checked surveillance tape for the vehicles that went up and down Bundy and in the area--much could be learned.
