Jasper, There is in existence somewhere a newspaper article which interviewed Ron's friends. It was found by Kate who used to post here. (boy I wish she'd come around again)
I read it. It told of Ron and Nicole going out the Friday before the murder (same night OJ went out with Paula). They went to big dressy affair and Ron went as her date and that he drove the car.
This could be a "planted" story but it was one of the ones which appeared in the paper (much like the stuff Lou and Judy have said) before the DA's got a hand into what got out and what did not.
Kate also found a news article about the Browns and others standing out in front of the Mezz after dinner, chatting with people, the kids were around, etc. Quoted one of the kids who was a friend of Sydney's saying that had been the last time she had seen her since she went away from LA after the murders.
Implied that Nicole left that group with the kids to go get ice cream. Recall that whereever they were, Judy claims to have watched Nicole go across the street to the Ben and Jerry's.
OK, the Ben and Jerry's is NOT across the street in front of the Mezz. It is actually to the side--to the left side if you are facing the Mezz on that corner where it sat.
Don't know that Judy could have been seated inside and seen her go across the side street to the ice cream store. Maybe they have side windows but I do not know about that.
