No, you are feel to do your own criminal check in all 50 states, if you would like. With Dick's research and Jill's word, I believe she does not have a criminal record. You on the other hand are speculating she might based on the information in Joe Bosco's book (which prompted a lawsuit against him because it was not accurate). Until you have any concrete information (which you won't find) that Jill has a criminal record, stop trying to make Jill look bad just because it does not support your theory.
