Jasper, All of the info I am about to mention I have known for years but have never thought of it in quite this manner before until tonight.
Heidi Fliess was arrested in July of 93. Immediately Howard Weitzman and Tony Pellicano were working for the movie studio to keep it away from the studio. Pellicano will do about anything as even people who knew and had hired him before would say.
Nicole and Ron were murdered June 12, 1994 and when it got right down to it Heidi Fleiss's trial started on the same day as OJ's in the same building.
When OJ was arrested, Weitzman made some remark about not being able to represent him due to a "conflict" and most people assumed it was knowledge he knew about OJ and NIcole but suppose it was because of his involvement in the Fleiss case?
So from July of 93 til the trial of Fleiss in Jan. of 95, Pellicano was working for the studio helping to cover them from bad publicity about Heidi Fleiss (as was Weitzman).
Yet at the very same time--he pops up to be Mark Fuhrman's UNPAID help in the Simpson case.
If you are wondering where I am going yet--NIcole and OJ were basically arguing over the Fleiss stuff (hookers at the house at the very least) in Oct of 93 when she called 911.
Sometime between Oct of 93 and her death she got harassing calls that Fuhrman and Phillips dealt with. Perhaps one or both of them were in her house. If it was before Jan of 94, it would have been in another house on Gretna Green but MF sued the tabloid tv show to keep people from telling they had seen him with her in Brentwood that spring. In fact, he and Pellicano both threatened them w/in an inch of their lives --publicly -if they said anything. Said they would be sorry that they were born if they spoke out.
Pellicano is an "expert" in wire-tapping and bugs and surveillance equipment.
Perhaps in some way Nicole was a threat to the Heidi case or exposure of the LAPD or Fuhrman (the Nicole's cops business) that we don't know of.
Keith K. also comes in due to his connection with the Mezz and with a Heidi girl (engaged) and living at Nicole's.
Nicole's missing keys could have been to use to place bugs or other types of listening devices--including wire-taps.
And don't forget the first person they ask about whether he is the PI who had knowledge of the crime--is Tony Pellicano.
Tony Pellicano is an out and out criminal. He will be on trial soon for a variety of reasons including having explosives in his safe. I am sure he didn't have them in there just for the fun of it.
He had access to equipment that other people only dream about--and could get it for someone-like MF or place it there himself. He was highly connected and even testified in the JFK stuff --about the number of shots heard (recorded) that day. He was hired by some top dogs in the government from both parties --including the Clintons when Clinton was the president. By this--I don't at all mean Clinton was involved--what I mean is that he had connections--big connections to Excellent equipment. The best available at the time. Government quality.
I have never really considered that at the same time he is working for the studios (and Weitzman) to cover the studios---he is also working for Fuhrman.
The woman who lived behind Nicole was the ex-wife of an ex Chicago private eye. Did we ever learn which one that was? Is she the same woman who put the letter at Nicole's gate that Fuhrman later used? Is this guy a co-hort of Pellicano. The other guy in the Jackson case (on the opposite side) was actually more of Pellicano's partner than a rival...and had been for years. He also was from Chicago. He lost his license in Chicago for impersonating police officers and using all kinds of tricks like that to get into people's houses.
I am not saying that this shows that MF isn't guilty--but shows a wider range of what could have happened here.
And how MF and others could have gotten top grade equipment to use--government issue perhaps.
You also have the mobile (car) phones used by cops for years to call from one to another car.
I think this might have been what F. Lee Bailey was referring to in an odd group of questions to Fuhrman about codes. And the codes being those used by the Neo-Nazi groups according to Blood Oath.
