Twenty Two I was hoping that someone would pick up on this stuff…. Keep in mind that the bloody shoeprints going up the stairs and along the concrete tiled pathway on Bundy were made with rubber-soled shoes. Michael Caine (think “Michael Skakel”) is a killer with a split personality in Dressed To Kill whose female alter ego (Bobbie) dresses like a nurse when “she” cuts a woman’s throat. The nurse’s shoes look a lot like Bruno Magli Lorenzos…. The Twilight Zone episode Twenty Two opens with Barbara Nichols as Elizabeth Powell apparently waking up in a hospital bed to the to the loud ticking of a clock. She hears a nurse’s squeaky, rubber-soled shoes on a hospital’s linoleum tiles in the hallway outside of her room. Liz has a powerful thirst and reaches for a glass of water but knocks it to the floor where it shatters. She gets out of bed clutching a rag doll that she had been sleeping with and goes out into the hall. At the end of the hall she sees a nurse on an elevator. The elevator door closes and the floor indicator goes down to the basement. Moving against her will, Liz gets on the elevator and takes it to the basement. She gets off in the basement shivering, not because she is afraid – which she is – but because she is cold. She walks slowly with great trepidation until she comes to a room with swinging doors. On the doors is the word “morgue.” Above the doors is the number 22. Suddenly the doors swing open and the nurse (Arlene Sax) is standing there saying, “Room for one more, honey.” Liz flees in panic. In a refinement of her vision where Liz tries to alter her actions, she lights a cigarette instead of reaching for the glass but ends up breaking the glass, anyway, and the pattern of the vision continues as it did before. All of the elements are present in Liz Powell’s vision to represent an airplane she will be scheduled to take that bursts into a ball of flames, but Liz does not see it in the shattered glass, the cigarette lighter flame or the number 22 above the morgue. The only time she sees it is when she is at the airport and the elements in the vision begin to repeat themselves. When she climbs the stairs to her plane (flight number 22) and the “nurse” is the flight attendant who opens the door and says, “room for one more, honey,” she knows what’s going to happen and beats a hasty retreat. Did the number 22 have a deep symbolic significance to Fuhrman that wasn’t shared by anyone else? You bet. It’s linked to the image assassination of O.J. Simpson and to money that came out of his pocket of a black leader who was literally assassinated… A dime (FDR – assassination attempt) and a penny (Lincoln – assassinated) were photographed next to Nicole’s Jeep (11 cents). Lincoln dreamed that he saw his body in a coffin and pennies over his eyes. In some photos of the coins there were two dimes and two pennies (22 cents). JFK was assassinated on 11/ 22/1963. On 11/ 22/’63 Mark Fuhrman was 11 years old. He joined the LAPD shortly before someone murdered Martha ELIZABETH Moxley in 1975. He was twenty-two in 1975. For his KKK laughing act with Margaret York regarding the Martin Luther King birthday (assassinated, prescient speech the night before), Fuhrman received a disciplinary suspension. York suspended him without pay for twenty-two days. –Jasper
