This snippet is from A Detroit Free Press article dated October 3, 1998:

“…For example, after Lewinsky showed the older woman her semen-stained dress -- while Tripp was an overnight guest in Lewinsky's Watergate apartment -- Tripp phoned Goldberg and told her about it.

“How useful would the dress be as evidence? Tripp asked Goldberg, who turned to a client working on a book in Goldberg's apartment -- former Los Angeles detective Mark Fuhrman, of O.J. Simpson murder trial fame -- who told her the preserved stain was priceless.”

From this story we’re supposed to believe that Fuhrman just happened to be sitting in Goldberg’s apartment when Tripp called Goldberg to tell her about the dress. Where did Laughlin get this story? The only possible source is Mark Fuhrman or Lucian Goldberg. I called the editor of the piece and she simply can’t remember. The best she could do was to tell me that it came from one of the wire services. —Jasper
