This is in answer to the dialogue on AFOJS about a blood stain on the floor with a hat over it. It was my understanding that except for the evidence in court which showed up two days after the murders on the pedals, gas and break, and half an imprint on the floor of the drivers side as well of course the much later found blood on the console and some blood on the inside of the door. Other then this they luminoled the car. In the dark the passenger side lit up like a Christmas Tree. The prosecution was really happy about this except for two things. Judge Ito refused to allow it in as it is a preliminary test and with all that carpet available they didn't go further with their testing or so they said. Second big reason which is a rumor but it fits with why they didn't search further. Sodas make luminol light up like Christmas trees as well. One of the Children who got to ride shot gun one day had spilled a tall soda all over the floor. It wasn't cleaned up blood but cleaned up soda. Many believe they did test it further and destroyed the results because it was soda. The Prosecution was hoping to get preliminary for blood tests into court using the small alleged blood mark near the handle of the driver side door to slip in the luminol tests. The kids had already been told they couldn't testify so there was no way for the defense to explain how this stain could be anything but blood unless the maid or Kato had been driving when whichever child spilled the soda. I had heard it was Sydney. The luminol story only lasted about three to five days so it is no wonder that there is so little about it to find, if anything at all. So much has been wiped off the net. Lots of the exculpatory information gets wiped.
