Strangely enough there is more about this movie. One thing is that Rosalind Cash who was a great actress and better singer also died of Cancer, played O.J. Simpson's wife. He went back to her. His son is played by, SURPRISE, Todd Bridges. A guy who had some problems but was followed around like Robert Downey Jr so that the LAPD could keep arresting him. Guess who represented Todd Bridges in the case of Attemped Murder? Johnny Cochran. Oh Yeah, The last name of O.J. Simpson's character was York. Dean Stockwell played the murderer, and at one point shoots O.J. Simpson in the head but the bullet bounced off his skull. Elizabeth Montgomery's name was Vicki, however, O.J. Simpson kept saying it so it sounded like Peggy. Dean Stockwell was released on a technicality for the murder they were after him for, not when York and his new partner got shot. Also, I was wrong about who they came down hard on. It was the Elizabeth Montgomery's character. At one point when O.J. Simpson's characters Superior comes to see him in the hospital and O.J. Simpson says something like, I'll be back you need a cowboy cop around the office. This movie was made in 1977. How much you want to bet this started the plan to destroy him? This movie was made for Television so probably no one even remembers it except for when it comes on. At one point in the movie as O.J. Simpson and Elizabeth Montgomery go to San Francisco to get the two killers he gets angry and he is verbally abusive to the suspects. Later that night Elizabeth Montgomery says, "You abused me just now." Apparently we were supposed to believe they had rough sex. Amazing how they movie spells so much out.
