A Killing Affair is one of the movies I was referring to with a number of direct links to Fuhrman’s part in the Bundy murder investigation and Fuhrman’s first book Murder in Brentwood. One striking thing about O.J. character in the movie is that he is just the sort of cowboy the Fuhrman said he was playing the part of on the McKinney tapes – with a little racism and sexism thrown in. You will recall that Peggy York was mentioned in the McKinny tapes. O.J. was not.
The murder case that O.J.’s character and Elizabeth Montgomery’s character investigated was an attempted double-homicide. The female victim was the maid. She survived but she had to undergo a tracheotomy (a cut in her throat). Remember how Fuhrman talked about his concern for O.J.’s maid as well as for O.J. when he discovered the blood spot on the Bronco? The other victim’s body was found on his left side in the kitchen. In one shot O.J. is shown next to a kitchen counter where a meat cleaver is stuck in the board.
Nicole’s only recorded 911 calls in ’93 were made from her kitchen. There were three big clues that the “fight” that ended up in Nicole’s courtyard started in her kitchen. The first was the knife on Nicole’s kitchen counter. The second was the blue jean jacket that Riske saw on the back of a kitchen chair. The third was the crushed buses on the landing. If O.J. hadn’t worn his blue jean jacket to the airport and the jacket in Nicole’s kitchen hadn’t disappeared, that’s the story those clues would have told.
On the way to the crime scene in A Killing Affair, O.J. character Woody (Fuhrman’s piece of wood/Woodrow – another President) passes through a yard full of delphiniums with rose bushes near the front door (Fuhrman’s delphiniums by the gate). O.J.’s full name in the movie is Woodrow Edison York. The writers no doubt threw in the Edison name as a reference to O.J.’s football nickname, the Juice. O.J.’s offensive line in Buffalo was called the Electric Company because it “turned loose the Juice.” In Murder in Brentwood Fuhrman calls O.J. the “Juice.”
In the Murder in Greenwich movie the writer worked in a reference to Fuhrman’s apprenticeship as an electrician. He does not mention his work as a carpenter (like Jesus Christ). The man who plays Fuhrman is named CHRISTopher. Jesus Christ worked miracles. Some people accused him of being nothing more than a clever magician.
Greenwich is pronounced “Gren-itch.” It looks like “Green-witch.” In the TV series Bewitched, staring Elizabeth Montgomery, her character is a witch named SAMantha. Stevens. Like a magician, Samantha is a miracle worker. Fuhrman made an issue of the movie Ghost. The lead ghost in the movie was a murder victim named Sam.
For centuries people like the medium in Ghost played by Whoopee GOLDBERG were burned at the stake as witches. In Murder in Greenwich there are two bond fire scenes with Martha ELIZABETH and a scene with STEVEN Weeks in which Fuhrman throws a newspaper with his picture and O.J.’s on the front page into a barrow of burning leaves. In another scene with STEVEN Weeks he points to a burning hotdog. In A Killing Affair, Elizabeth Montgomery calls O.J. a “hotdog.”
A Killing Affaire is where I think Christianity and the occult come together in Fuhrman’s mind. Remember that in Murder in Greenwich Martha ELIZABETH Moxley (played by Maggie—Margeret, as in York—Grace) is a ghost. In Nicole’s ’93 call to 911 (see Miss Marple’s posts in Knowledge Base) Nicole is made to sound like Martha Elizabeth does in Fuhrman’s movie, like a murder victim speaking from the grave.
I have to mention one exchange from A Killing affair that lines up with your hypothesis on Fuhrman’s interest in setting up O.J. for the murder of Nicole as far back as 1978… Montgomery, as Vicky says to O.J., as Woody, “You were abusing me!” A little later she says, “I’m sorry. Now I’m being abusive.” Sound familiar? –Jasper
