O.J. Simpson's daughter called police on dad, Web site says

The New York Post’s Web site is reporting that Miami resident O.J. Simpson’s 17-year-old daughter called police for help during an argument with her famous father recently.
The Post's online edition, www.nypost.com, said police responded to the Simpson home in Kendall and calmed both parties before the daughter, Sydney Simpson, agreed to leave the home for a while and stay with her grandparents.
Police said the argument involved “family issues,” according to the Post.
Simpson, a Heisman trophy winner in college and a long-time professional football player, was acquitted in the 1994 murders of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and one of her friends, Ron Goldman. He later lost a civil suit filed by Brown's family.
Since leaving California for Florida in 1999, Simpson was involved in a road-rage trial in which he was accused of attacking another motorist in Miami. Again he was acquitted.
(Supposedly, In the call Sydney was locked in the bathroom and told the 911 operator her father was "abusing" her. Actually, he did not do anything to her, but you know where everyone's mind went.)
