Charlie,

That just doesn’t work with the time, the position of Nicole’s body (slightly moved or not) or the testimony of ANY witness. The only way a neighbor could have seen her face is if they were standing inside of the police tapes between 2:10 and 2:30 when Riske was giving Fuhrman and Phillips the tour and Fuhrman was inside writing his notes.

The responding officers could only guess that the dead woman was Nicole. They could make that guess based on her general appearance, the name that came up when they ran the Ferrari license plate number (come to think of it, why didn’t they run the license number on the jeep if it was parked in the driveway?) and the photos in the house. That’s what they did. They reported that the dead woman could be O.J.’s ex-wife Nicole.

When Fuhrman and Phillips arrived at 2:10, neither of the bodies had been identified. By 2:30 Nicole’s body had been identified but not Ron’s. Jeff knew both of them. Fuhrman knew Nicole. He knew that the female victim MIGHT be her when he got the call from Phillips at 1:05. All he had to do when he got there was to look. –Jasper
