I heard the story--at the time, not later, that the ambulance/emt's that Riske called had not shown up yet when a local fire truck/etc. returning from a call passed by and saw the scene and stopped --thus becoming the ones to do the call. We all heard later in the LA Times of the dire circumstances of the fire dept. and ambulance service where a 911 call could be not answered with paramedics for 20-30 minutes due to not having enough of them to take care of everybody. There were actually lawsuits about people who died because of the lengthy time it took for help to arrive.
It makes perfect sense to me that the "passing" fire truck and unit would stop and perhaps, in fact, BE the neighborhood unit that MIss Marple refers to. And, yes, perhaps they did know her and hence an ID was done in that way. It was always strange that even the name of the guy who pronounced death was not allowed in and that he was totally kept out of the trials.
This is another possible source of 'info" for the cops about custody and perhaps even an accusation of guilt towards OJ>
Being the one to actually go into the scene and check out NIc and Ron and pronounce them dead, the EMT would be a vast source of info on what he saw in the scene and the position and conditions of the body. It has never made sense that he would be excluded. Notice I said EXCLUDED not omitted. They might leave him out because he wasn't needed but that wasn't the case. He was EXCLUDED from the trial and his name kept secret. Just like Fuhrman and Roberts were EXCLUDED from the civil trial.
I have mentioned before that the whole scenario that night and the delay is only what the cops wanted it to be. NOthing about their timeline had to be cut in stone. They could have easily made it up as the went--or even later to match up to phone calls and arrival times.
And I have said all along that many of these people knew each other. Several of the time/barking dog witnesses knew each other and some were on opposing sides.
And now the woman who lived behind the condo also knows Nic and Jeff who allegedly lives next door whom we don't hear about til now?
This fits into the same category of Kato knowing all these folks as well and the people at the Mezz too.
Did Jeff know Ron? Was his body pointed out to him? Or was it just Nicole?
In their stress to say that OJ wasn't a suspect til the blood and glove were found, did they EXCLUDE the EMT and Jeff and perhaps others who had info that they were passing on? If so, it is more lies by the cops.
Were they afraid that if the EMT got on the stand, he would have been asked did he know Nicole? And if he told the cops any info on her and more importantly OJ?
