It just occured to me that if in fact this is the same fire station unit where Nicole was known, it is the local station. Therefore, as you see weekly in the program Third Watch, the firemen and cops are KNOWN to each other if they work in the same "precinct". It is very possible that many of the cops and detectives on scene that night were known to and perhaps friends with the firemen in that area.
Any fire, crime, accident, shooting, murder, etc. that the cops responded to would also be responded to by the same firemen from the area.
I would think on a day in and day out basis over a period of months and perhaps years the SAME cops would run into the SAME firemen and EMT's.
I realize that Third Watch is just a tv program but it is a good one that I watch on a regular basis. On that program, the cops are asked to "cover' for the firemen and vise versa when there are investigations. Due to friendships and relationships and personally knowing each other, they are forever vouching for and being asked to not mention some slip up or other.
On that program, the fire station is across the street from the police precinct. Is there any info as to where the fire department station is located in relationship to the police station?
