Rose, That is what I noticed too and commented on. That Karpf and Stein evidently weren't awakened but perhaps this Jeff was.
And the cops would/SHOULD have gone to the closet neighbors first.
About the trash cans, one of the tabloids reported going thru Nicole's trash and finding a pregnacy test and other items inferring the cops didn't do it. And there was a brief discussion about OJ's house too and the fact that even though the house was practically under a lockdown on Monday, the trash men came and collected the trash.
