I just glanced at a few comments about the switching of the swatches and the failure to log in everyone into the crime lab to enable them to achieve their evidence tampering.
I have for a long time believed that Simpson's blood was never planted at the crime scene, but was, instead planted on swatches that were switched for the ones they collected. The comments about this reveal the manipulation that must have occurred at the crime lab.
But this manipulation didn't just happen by accident. The ground work for making this planting possible was, in fact, laid at the very beginning of the case.
For example, Lange takes home tennis shoes instead of giving them to Fung. Why? they become his excuse for entering the crime lab the next day when they actually deliver the vial and the swatches spiked with Simpson's blood. Taking the sneakers home was, therefore, already part of the plan they implemented the day before.
Same with the numbering scheme they used that was the foundation for validating the blood eventually collected on July 3.
But for this conspiracy to fabricate evidence to have been implemented required an even greater conspiracy to plan and execute the murder of which the planting conspiracy had to be part of from the beginning. The simple reason for that is there was absolutely no reason for the cops to suddenly hatch this conspiracy on the spur of the moment to protect just one of their own.
The key to how far this goes is that Bushey and Frankle, the top commanders of one fourth of the LAPD entire force, are separately involving themselves in the transfer of the case to robbery/homicide at 2:30 a.m. That's purely ludicrous for the two top commanders to be drawn into such a routine decision about a case when they did not even know for sure who the victim was if all the police accounts about what they then knew are considered.
The NYPD has a night command that takes over and makes all command decision. The line of authority in the night command is separate from the daytime command structure when, of course, all the brass are on the job. The night command has spcial responsibilities and command authority to handle emergencies.
The LAPD must have a similar arrangement. No way would Bushey and Frankle have been involved in such a routine decision as transferring a case to robbery/homicide when so litle was known about the situation. Recall that Fuhrman and Phillips had done nothing more up to then than allegedly walk through the crime scene.
The Simpson case is not a simple murder and spur of the moment frame up of an innocent patsy to throw the cops off the trail of the real murderer.
No, these murders were carefuly planned and executed to accimplish what they achieved, which was to demknize and publicly lynch a prominent black man as an icon to establishment power to demonstrate to people that they had better not get out of line.
And it worked.
