Jasper,
It wouldn't be surprising if Fung had let fuhrman into the lab on the 14th. They had after all been working together at Rockingham the day before, during which time fuhrman concidered himself "in charge of the crime scene".
The tampering of the blood seems amateurish.A trained criminalist wouldn't have put the wet blood in the bindle causing the transfer. Someone from the lab also wouldn't have been in that kind of hurry.
It must have been decided at some point for some reason to keep fuhrman out of the case. His name appears nowhere. Could it be that the missing lab sign in sheet had fuhrmans name on it. Stephen Singular's source suggested that Mazzola knew something.
Clark wrote about her horror when she heard that Fung was the criminalist on the case and didn't call Yamauchi in the Prelims after his "performance" before the Grand Jury. "I assumed he would get better."
I think these guys were honest but not honest enough to not "do their job" on the stand. Fung's strange detour to shake hands with the defence team and O.J. after his testimony to me looked like he was happy not only that it was over, but that they had unearthed things he could not have voluntered.
