The issues you raise are far too complicated and invlved to be addressed in a mere response to the specific points you make.
Sufice it to say that Lange and Vannatter's accounts range all the way from completely truthful, to deceptive and on to completely conrived as deliberately fraudulent. They also serve multiple purposes. It would, therefore, be completely incorrect to treat what they did as completely consistent. It's not. But all their incosistency, deceptions and falsehoods serve the same purpose, which is framing participating in the frame up of Simpson, and engineering to cover it up. In fact, tne key to much of their activities is not the frame up itself, but the effort to commit it so they could cover it up and create alibis to avoid liability for what they were doing.
