Miss Marple,

Dynamite stuff. I was hoping to uses this board as a supplement to High Points. This sort of thing is exactly what we need – essential FACTS that will help anyone interested in connecting the dots to draw all of the right lines in all of the right places.

For over five years I actively resisted trying to get Fuhrman’s face into any connect-the-dot exercise. It’s a good practice because it keeps you out of the trap of seeing what you expect to see or hope to see to “prove a theory,” and cherry picking evidence to fit. I didn’t have to look for Fuhrman. Wherever I looked to fill in the blanks there was Fuhrman. When I didn’t see him I saw his partner Brad Roberts.

Why was the driveway cropped out of the pictures showing the Bronco? Why was Marcia’s diagram of the Rockingham estate drawn so badly out of scale and proportion? Why did it take an expert in scale and proportion months to figure out just where Fung’s blood drop markers were placed? What happened to the blue jean jacket on the kitchen chair? Who found the socks on O.J.’s bedroom rug? The list goes on and on and on…

I wasn’t looking for Fuhrman in any of these cases but when I got to the end of the line, there he was. Now it’s time to look for him.

If John Wright was Fuhrman’s buddy in the city attorney’s office since ’87 and Fuhrman wrote a letter to that office in ’89 to show a pattern of spouse abuse with O.J. and Nicole, there has to be a Fuhrman connection to the tapes. Wright had to know that Fuhrman wrote the letter because there was a big search on to find him and Fuhrman had to know that Wright had access to the tapes.

The city attorney’s office would not have kept the tape but an individual in that office might have as a favor to a friend if that friend gave him a good enough reason. The ONLY reason the ’89 case (yes, “’93 case” was a typo) was because of Fuhrman letter. That would have been reason enough for Wright (as opposed to the city attorney’s office) to hang onto the ’93 tape IF he believed that the “pattern of abuse” was continuing.

What would make him believe that? What about all of the talking that Fuhrman did in ’92 about his affair with Nicole and about Nicole telling him of O.J.’s “ongoing abuse”? Did Fuhrman tell those stories to everyone within earshot at a cop bar and at a picnic and not tell his friend in the city attorney’s office? I don’t think so. –Jasper.
