Gonzolaz got a pass from the judge. In any other case, he would have been threatened with contempt or forced to testify and answer the questions. In this case, he was just dismissed by the judge.
There were so many things with this judge which were over the edge that it was suspicious to me.
It should have been inquired about, investigated or asked of him why his business card was in her desk. But the defense never got a chance. Once he balked and started arguing and refusing to answer, the judge dismissed him.
And I strongly disagreed with the judge about the manuscripts of the books being disallowed. Those manuscripts (of Fuhrman, Vannatter and Lange and others) were public statements of what they expressed as FACT and if they did not jive or lies were in them (or facts not in line with the testimony of the criminal trial), it should have been able to be challenged. It wasn't just "opinion' in the book, it was statements of "fact" about what happened when and how.
