Jasper,

I think we can possibly discount the "midnight visit" to Rockingham. It came out of a translation error in Rosa Lopez' testimony. Rosa said she heard the voices "media noche", the translator said "midnight". "Media noche" also means "in the middle of the night", which can be anytime during the night and could include the "after 2.30 visit".

Also, don't forget that Arnelle returned home from the movies some time after midnight.

Don't you think it possible that the idea for Phillip's to call Bushey, feeding him the information about the "dual custody type situation", suggesting a house call to Rockingham instead of informing the next of kin, came from fuhrman. I think it has fuhrman all over it, with information that couldn't have been that readily available.

Marcia wrote about Schwab: "We hadn't been able to get him up before the grand jury, but his testimony was crucial to our time line. If the mmurders were committed after eleven o'clock, Simpson would be home free: he couldn't possibly have done the killing and hooked up with the limo driver in time. The problem was that the first time Schwab talked to police, he said that he believed he'd first seen the akita around 11.15.P.M. This statement was made to the cops at about five on the morning after the murders. Schwab had been awakened from a deep sleep and was slightly confused about times. Upon more clear-minded reflection, however, he realized he'd actually seen the dog at about 10.45."

Sounds like some heavy leaning on poor Schwab. She doesn't mention Roberts.
