In the civil trial, Kato gives a hint he did see OJ, but in the typical manner in which Kato answers questions, he leaves it unclear.

You might want to consider when Jill made her report to the police how unlikely it was that she saw any TV footage with the license number prior to her report. Jill made her call to the police on her lunch hour on Monday, June 13th. ******************************************************************************************************** It's not when she made her first call to the police; it's when she first reported the license number to them that is is question. ******************************************************************************************************** It is doubtful that she had access to watching TV from her work. ******************************************************************************************************** Since you are a nice lady, I will say only : posh and bother and fiddlesticks!
It's quite normal to find tvs at workplaces nowadays, especially in break rooms. Not to mention the places you could go on your lunch hour. Not to metnion the possibility that Shively was taping everything. ********************************************************************************************************* Yes, it is possible she could have seen OJ's car at an earlier time and memorized the license number, but for what purpose? She couldn't have know this would happen.
